| | Here's an update of my August 4, 2005 post.
It now appears that the once-esteemed stem-cell scientist, Hawng Woo-suk...well, lied. "He gained international fame in 2004 when he announced the creation of the world's first cloned human embryo in his prestigious laboratory at Seoul National University" according to today's Orange Couunty Register. The research, the results--including his claim to have clone the world's first dog--all faked. Hwang has said he would leave his professorship, but the university has yet to receive a letter of resignation.
I'm sure there's a lesson here.
One last thing, Apple has a terrific site to view movie trailers of upcoming films, Apple Trailers. The letter box format can be viewed in small, medium, large or full screen formats and in most cases, HD (high defintion - though this takes a few moments longer to downlaod, but worth it.). You can even download trailers for your video iPod! Check out Flight 93, the latest film by the director of Bourne Supremacy. This film will generate conversation. Finally, take a look at Mr. Gibson's new project, Apocalypto.
